‍Build Masjids. Build Communities

The Prophet ﷺ said,

“Whosoever builds a house (masjid) for the pleasure of Allāh, whether it be small or large, Allāh builds for him a house in Paradise.”

[Bukhari and Muslim]

Invitation To Islam (ITI) has visited over 1,000 villages in West Africa through which over 100,000 people have embraced Islam (Alhamdulillah). Subsequently, there is a huge need to build masjids in order to assist the new Muslims in learning and practising their new faith.

 The masjid acts as the heart and focal point for the community as a place of worship. Upon entering Madinah, Prophet ﷺ would prioritise the establishing of a masjid. In light of this noble pursuit, ITI aims to build a masjid in the villages where a high proportion of the villagers have accepted Islam. To date, ITI has built over 100 masjids (Alhamdulillah).

 ITI builds masjids in three different sizes: small, medium and large which take approximately 6-12 months to build.
