Give Zakat To Poor, Disabled, Widows and Orphans in Africa!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

There are people living in some remote parts of the world who are so poor and needy that they do not have any helper except Allāh and the people who He chooses to assist them.

Invitation To Islam (ITI) has had teams on the ground helping various communities in different parts of Africa since 1994, therefore they are well aware of the circumstances of those people who are most in need. They take great care to ensure that all donations and zakat are distributed to those who are eligible.

* Please note that ITI does not deduct an administrative fee from your donation.

Orphans

Abdul Aziz (Head of ITI projects in Africa), distributing sweets to orphans

Why should we care about Orphans?

Many orphans in Africa lack access to food and basic necessities. They are frequently found living on the streets, which can lead to criminal behaviour because they may have to steal in order to survive, particularly if they lack family support and knowledge of Allah.

How does ITI help Orphans?

We help orphans to survive in life.

We make enquiries about them and place them in homes that will meet their basic needs, such as food and shelter.

We also assist them with their medical needs.

We provide educational assistance to those who aspire to learn.

We give them opportunities and encourage them in achieving their life goals so that they can contribute to society. We support them in learning trades such as carpentry, masonry, automobile and motorcycle mechanics, and electrical work.

ITI is supporting these orphans who are from three different villages

Widows

Why should we care about Widows?

Widows, after losing their loved ones, are left alone to handle the hardships of life.

Some widows who previously lived with their in-laws are driven out of their homes and left stranded, causing them to suffer from stress, anxiety and other mental illnesses.

Other widows may have no family assistance, forcing them to become breadwinners. This may result in unfavourable circumstances, having a negative impact on their families.
